Annual Events & News
Below are the descriptions of events and news that happen annually and throughout the year.
Annual BBQ
September
Every year our complex holds an annual barbecue to meet and greet your neighbours. There are games and food. We serve hot dogs, cookies, coffee, and more. Its a great event that allows everyone to get to know each other.
If there are any special dietary needs, please inform the office when you receive your notice of the BBQ.
Annual General Meeting (AGM)
November/December
The Corporation's fiscal year ends on August 31st. Sometime is required to audit the financial documents before the AGM. The AGM is the opportunity to hear reports from the Board of Directors, receive and discuss the financial statements and elect the ensuing years Board. Everyone is urged to attend.
Christmas light Competition
December

Every once and while the Board will hold a Christmas Light Competition. There is a lower unit and upper unit winner. A notice will go out at the beginning of December to remind every one if it is happening or not. Winners are announced the week before Christmas.
We thank everyone for their participation and making our Community Bright and Cheerful!
**The Current Board of Directors will decide on a yearly basis if the event is held.**
Special Meetings
Anytime of year
From time to time, there may be a special meeting called by the condo board. This is to inform all unit owners about something that is going on at the complex. These special meetings may include a vote on a proposed substantial change.

These special meetings will always be for all unit owners, board members and any experts that may be involved in the project.
Newsletter
Anytime of year
The newsletter 'Welcome To The Ridge' is published by the Board of Directors for the benefit of Chimney Ridge residents. The publication is dedicated to fostering communication and collaboration around residents, Board of Directors and staff; promoting a sense of community and informing unit owners of community resources and issues. Copies of the newsletters are hand delivered to on-site residents and mailed to off-site owners.
