Responsibilities of Each Board Member

 

The Board, elected annually, must manage the complex according to the Manitoba Condominium Act, The Declarations and our By-Laws.  There are five members with various responsibilities however no one member is expected to act alone.  Members may monitor, investigate, recommend but all decisions are Board decisions. Communications is the key; between the Board members and with all unit owners.

 

The Board hires and directs the Property Manager.

 

General Responsibilities of the specific portfolios can be reviewed in your bylaw booklet.  

 

At times committees may be formed to gather information or promote activities.  Such committees may be for social activities such as Summer BBQ, Christmas Light Competition or it could be about other topics such as reviewing the Bylaws and Declaration.
